Pre-Drywall Home Inspection

A Pre-Drywall Home Inspections is for the person having a new home built. This inspection is performed after the foundation is in place, the bare walls and roof are up, but before the interior walls or insulation is installed. It is important to inspect the interior components of the home before they are concealed. We will be ensure the weight loads of the house are brought to the foundation properly and the ductwork, wiring and plumbing are installed properly. We check that the walls and flooring are being installed correctly.  While these items are checked by the builder’s quality control personnel and by the county building inspector, it is very important these areas are inspected by an independent third party. A home inspector normally spends more time on site than the county inspectors. We pay attention to details that the county inspectors may not be concerned with. The HHI inspector will also take the time to explain he components of the home and how they work to make the home function properly as a whole.
