I've always had a passion for construction, engineering, and just plain tinkering since I was a child. Since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill I’ve had more than 10 years of hands-on construction management experience. When I was working as a residential and commercial project manager, I was always interested in the inspector's role in the construction and transaction process. My construction experience, attention to detail, and high energy all lend themselves to being a great home inspector.
I thrive when I can meet new people every day and have positive interactions. I enjoy being able to give clients the peace of mind that they are making a well-informed and calculated decision on their new home. I have the opportunity to teach clients about each home’s unique systems—buying a home is a big decision, so it’s important to understand how it works and how best to maintain the entire home throughout its life.
When I’m not inspecting I am always keeping active! My wife Lindsay and I love to explore the Shenandoah Mountains with our son Jake, and do acroyoga together. I’m also an avid cyclist with an ever-evolving collection of bikes--I’ll ride just about anything with wheels! Lindsay and our dog Bailey are my closest riding buddies. Yes, Bailey the dog rides too.
