Pre-Listing Home Inspection

A pre-listing home inspection is an excellent way to prepare your home for sale. As the seller, you naturally want your home to be in the best possible condition, so it is as attractive as possible to potential buyers. The pre-listing inspection covers the same areas as the pre-purchase inspection, simply from the other side of the transaction.

Since almost all real estate sales have home inspection contingencies, you can be all-but-assured that your prospective buyers will have an inspector of their own come in and inspect the house. By having a pre-listing inspection done prior, you will have forewarning of any potential issues, allowing you to remedy them, if possible, or at least be aware of the situation. No one should be blind-sided by unforeseen problems; make sure that you have the best information available about your property.
